Dopo essersi rintanate nel sottosuolo per qualche anno, le piattole ronzanti sono tornate per una sera (una soltanto, dicono loro) a infestare la loro città. Con il tipico atteggiamento spaccone, festaiolo e rumoroso che li aveva resi una delle band più divertenti della zona, sono tornate alla luce riunendo l’ultima formazione (quella che nel 2014 aveva pubblicato Confusion). E proprio sulla musica composta da questa squadra è incentrato il concerto di stasera, che si prefigge di ripartire da dove tutto si era fermato, anziché ripercorrere per intero il cammino iniziato negli anni '90. Il che è un bene anche per chi, come me, li segue dagli inizi e ha assistito a tutte le trasformazioni della band: perché se c’è una cosa sulla quale il loro rock n’ roll rumoroso non ha mai indugiato è la nostalgia. E nessuno, stasera, sente il bisogno di nostalgia. Al contrario, abbiamo bisogno di musica piena di tiro, compatta, carica e divertente. E questo è ciò che i Bugz dimostrano di saper fare ancora benissimo. Le piattole usciranno nuovamente dagli scantinati per infestare la città? Staremo a vedere!

After hiding in the underground for a few years, the buzzing bugs are back for one evening (only one, they say) to infest their town. With the typical bully, party and noisy attitude that had made them one of the funniest bands in the area, they came back to light by bringing together the latest lineup (the one that released Confusion in 2014). And it is precisely on the music composed by this lineup that tonight's concert is focused - starting from where everything had stopped, rather than retracing the whole path begun in the 90s. And this is a good thing also for those who, like me, follow them from the beginning and have witnessed all the transformations of the band: because if there is something on which their noisy rock n 'roll has never lingered is nostalgia. And nobody, tonight, feels the need for nostalgia. On the contrary, we need music full of groove, compact and funny. And this is what The Bugz show they can still do very well. Will the bugs come out again from the basements to infest the town? We'll see!
